Catching up with Casemate!

Casemate has kicked off the summer with boots on the ground with our books in the news, our authors appearing on podcasts and in interviews, while we’ve been attending conferences!

Did you catch us at IPMS last week in Madison? Or maybe you missed one of these stellar reviews our books have netted? We have you covered with all the best of Casemate updates below featuring our books in the news!

Reviewers are Raving

Indochina Hand was reviewed by Publishers Weekly where they described it as a “chronicle of [Broman’s] Cold War CIA career bouncing around the globe with his own recollections of running agents and other espionage derring-do, as well as stories told to him by friends and colleagues. There’s also a good deal about his off-duty travels throughout the world.”

Army History Magazine raved about Asian Armageddon, 1944-45 calling it an “engaging, dense work of 186 pages, divided into nine chapters, [that] will spark readers’ interest…”

Tenth Army Commander was reviewed over in Aether: A Journal of Strategic Airpower & Spacepower where they said “[for historians] the diary itself still represents invaluable source material.”

Over on ARGunners.com they loved Expectation of Valor: “For the first time, serious military buffs and general armchair readers are offered unique Army personalities, insights and perspectives of the challenges, definitions, and logistics of that entire Iraq war…”

And you won’t want to miss the chapter excerpt of Among the Firsts that was featured in the latest issue of Air Force Times.
