- The Road to Waterloo
Overview-
Road to Waterloo tells the story of the British Army’s fight against the French Empire of Napoleon Bonaparte between 1808 and 1815, a period that saw the map of the world redrawn by the valour and discipline of the ordinary men in the army of the Duke of Wellington.
It was in the 15 bloody battles and four great sieges of the Peninsular War and the decisive clash of Waterloo that the British Army gained its reputation for professionalism and pragmatism in the face of the impossible.
